HEALTH & CONFIDENCE RESTORED

All of your teeth and muscles in the head and neck work in harmony to create a balanced bite, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. When a tooth is damaged enough that it must be removed, that harmony is disrupted. And although not immediately apparent, a slow process of bone loss, tooth movement, and occlusal imbalance may occur. This is why it’s important to replace missing teeth, and we’re here to give you a plethora of options on how to achieve just that. Using a combination of artistry and modern technology, we offer a variety of options to replace your missing teeth that are nearly indistinguishable from your real teeth. In cosmetic dentistry, the best kind of work is that which doesn’t look like “Work”.

ORAL SURGERY & BONE GRAFTING

It’s not a topic most people want to think about, but if a tooth is damaged beyond repair, it must be removed to prevent infection and pain. We are extensively trained in oral surgery to provide the most conservative and minimally invasive tooth extraction possible. Rest assured that our two highest priorities in any extraction is to retain as much bone as possible while keeping you pain free.
Certain patients may also be candidates for bone grafting, which is bone that is placed into the socket at the time of extraction. This procedure helps to preserve the level of the bone and can often prevent the need for major bone grafting later on. Therefore, a ridge preservation bone graft helps to minimize the need for treatment with major bone grafting in the future.

Dental ImplantS

The gold standard for tooth replacement is a dental implant. An implant is an artificial tooth root made from specially treated titanium, which is implanted into the bone. After a period of healing, the implant is restored with a tooth to restore function and aesthetics. This tooth is permanently inserted into the mouth, and will not need to be removed for maintenance. A properly placed and maintained implant can provide a lifetime of service to the patient, and is often considered the best option for those with missing teeth..

BRIDGES

AESTHETIC BRIDGES

Another great option for replacing a missing tooth is an aesthetic bridge. The gap between two teeth is bridged by using a series of interconnected crowns. Like an implant, the bridge is permanently cemented into the mouth and does not need to be removed for maintenance. Using cutting edge materials, we can match the color and luster of your teeth.

IMPLANT BRIDGES

An implant bridge, likewise, is a bridge that is supported by an implant on each side instead of a natural tooth. It is mainly meant for patients with significant gaps of missing teeth and is also considered the gold standard as far as bridges. It balances the long-term reliability of an implant with the long-span functionality of an aesthetic bridge.

Premium Dentures
& Implant
Overdentures

For those patients who are missing a significant amount of teeth, one of our premium dentures may be a good option. A denture is a metal/lic appliance that is inserted into the mouth every morning and removed at night for easy cleaning. Using natural support of existing structures of the mouth and adhesive, a denture can be an economical option for the edentulous patient.
Overdentures are similar to regular dentures, except they are supported on the bottom by four to six dental implants. The implants latch onto the denture via connectors that ‘snap’ in. Although patients still must remove their dentures nightly, this alleviates the #1 reason why patients are unhappy with dentures, which is that they do not fit well. We consider overdentures the standard of care for removable prosthodontics for those with no teeth.
